What if Bran never climbed the tower?

Bran on tower

1. Bran was supposed to leave for King’s Landing the next day along with his father and his sisters, riding upon the back of a horse. But that day he went up the tower to look at his father and all the King’s men going out for a hunt; that was when he was pushed from the tower by Jaime.

Bran

Now if Bran had not gone up the tower and stayed in the castle keeping his promise to his mother, he would have left for King’s Landing the next day along with his siblings. Of course, Robb would have stayed back at the castle as there should always be a Stark at Winterfell. Jon would have gone to the Wall. Maybe if Bran was around then Nymeria would not have hurt Joffrey as Arya would have been practicing with Bran. So all the three wolves would have been safe.

Nymeria

The party would be reaching King’s Landing where after the death of Ned, Bran would have either run away with Arya or stayed back with Sansa. But Bran was never as daring as Arya, hence he would have been with Sansa.

2. Going as per the events, had Bran not climbed the tower, Catelyn would not have, in the first place, gone looking for clues in the tower and found Cersei’s strand of hair. No one would have suspected anything. Ned would have still followed in the footsteps of Jon Arryn and would have come to the conclusion that the royal children (Joffrey, Tommen and Myrcella) were actually the children of Cersei and Jaime. So Ned being killed would not have been prevented. But Bran would have been with him along with Hodor. Catelyn came to King’s Landing only when Bran was attacked by an assassin, so she would not have taken that journey and also in the process would not have kidnapped Tyrion. So if Catelyn had not kidnapped him, Tyrion would not have met Bronn or any of the mountain people nor would he have gone to the Vale. This makes the next few battles for the Lannisters a little bit difficult. Tyrion would not have picked Stannis’s scouts before the Blackwater and Stannis, being a good general, would have been able to do something about the information he receives about his enemy’s strategies. This would have broken the entire Lannister reign. Bran did not climb the tower and hence did not fall and break his legs.he would have left for King’s Landings. Robb would have stayed on with Catelyn and Rickon as Lord of Winterfell. An attempt on Bran’s life would not have been made and that would ensue

3. Bran did not climb the tower and hence did not fall and break his legs. He would have left for King’s Landings. Robb would have stayed on with Catelyn and Rickon as Lord of Winterfell. An attempt on Bran’s life would not have been made and that would ensure Catelyn never left Winterfell. Tyrion would have gone to the Wall and returned South through Winterfell and would not have been captured by Lady Catelyn. At King’s Landing Ned tries to be careful of the Lannisters mainly because of Lysa Arryn’s letter and searches for clues to uncover the death of Jon Arryn. Bran would have been close to Tommen as they both would have obviously hit it well. After Ned is beheaded Bran stays back at Winterfell with Sansa and would have always been along with Tommen. Maybe after Joffrey is dead and Sansa escapes, Bran is left back at King’s Landing. Hence, he becomes a stake the Lannisters can hold onto. But even Tommen, after becoming king, would not have been able to free Bran. But somehow Bran escapes along with Hodor and Summer, he would have travelled North, he would not have met the Three-eyed Raven, but would have had dreams about the raven and would have been able to control the animals and birds like a Warg. He would have discovered his ability to read the future and the past.

Bran would have been reunited at Winterfell when Jon takes the Castle. Hodor would have still been alive and we would not have seen a very sad death in season 6. Also, Bran would never have met the White Walkers.
